Apple lists iPhone models eligible for AI‑powered Siri in iOS 27

Apple announced that iOS 27 will be installable on a wide range of iPhone models, from the iPhone 11 series through the current lineup. However, the new AI‑enhanced Siri and Apple Intelligence features will only run on devices that include the A17 Pro processor or later, such as the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and future iPhone 16/17 models.

All supported iPhones will receive the operating‑system update, but users of the iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, the entire iPhone 14 line, and the standard iPhone 15 will miss the advanced AI capabilities. Apple also demonstrated AI‑driven tools in the Phone and Photos apps, emphasizing on‑device processing to protect user privacy.
