Apple's MacBook Neo sees price tweaks, new color‑matched accessories and a shipment slump

Apple’s recently launched MacBook Neo, equipped with the A18 Pro chip, has undergone several market developments. In India, retailer Vijay Sales continues to sell the laptop at its original launch price of ₹69,900, offering additional bank‑card EMI discounts that can lower the effective cost to about ₹66,400. In France, Apple’s official refurb store lists a refurbished Neo at €679, slightly below the current new‑unit price of €799 after a recent price hike.

Accessory maker Satechi has introduced a colour‑matched collection for the Neo, including a USB‑C Snap Hub, an OntheGo 5‑in‑1 USB‑C adapter and a Slim EX wireless mouse, all offered in the laptop’s four colourways (Citrus, Blush, Indigo, Silver) and priced between $29.99 and $44.99.

Analysts warn that supply constraints for the A18 Pro chip—driven by high demand from AI firms—could cut MacBook Neo shipments by up to 40 %. Forecasts now project annual sales of 6‑7 million units, down from an earlier 10 million target, as TSMC struggles to meet chip demand.
