Apple releases eighth developer beta for iOS 27 and macOS 27

Apple has released the eighth developer beta for its upcoming software suite, including iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27. This release marks the final stages of testing ahead of the official public launch expected in September.

The primary focus of this update cycle is the integration of Siri AI, powered by Apple Intelligence. The rebuilt assistant features enhanced conversational abilities, personal context awareness, and the ability to understand on-screen content. New features include a dedicated Siri app for conversation history and a redesigned interface integrated with the Dynamic Island.

Beyond AI, the updates include refinements to the Liquid Glass interface, such as new transparency controls, and performance optimizations for app launches, AirDrop, and system transitions. The software is expected to support a wide range of devices, including the iPhone 11 and newer models. The official release is anticipated to follow Apple’s hardware event on September 9.
