Apple Pay transfer methods for Android and Cash App

Apple Cash cannot be sent directly to Android devices because the service is restricted to the Wallet and Messages apps on Apple hardware. To pay an Android user, users must first transfer their Apple Cash balance to a US bank account or a debit card. Once the funds are moved, they can be sent via third-party services compatible with both platforms, such as PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle.

Regarding Cash App, direct transfers from the service to Apple Pay are not supported because Apple Pay requires a linked credit or debit card rather than a bank account link. To facilitate transfers between the two, users can link a Cash App Cash Card to their Apple Wallet. This allows for fund movement between the platforms using the physical or virtual debit card functionality.
