Apple plans glass‑body iPhone 20 and warns of steep price rise for iPhone 18 Pro

Apple is reportedly preparing a largely glass‑enclosed iPhone to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the original iPhone, with a tentative launch in autumn 2027. Leaks suggest the device would adopt a thin, Air‑like form factor and may feature glass extending over the sides. At the same time, analysts caution that the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro could debut at a starting price of about €1,550, roughly €330 higher than the current generation. The hike is attributed to severe memory‑chip shortages that have driven component costs up by as much as 300 %.
