Apple raises most 2026 product prices and delays high‑end M6 Mac chips to 2027

Apple announced unprecedented price increases for most of its product line in 2026, citing a global shortage of components driven by soaring demand for AI data‑center memory and storage. Prices for MacBook, iPad and other devices are set to rise by €100‑300, while the Vision Pro returns to its launch price of €3,999. iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch are currently exempt, though future adjustments are possible.

Separately, a Bloomberg report quoting analyst Mark Gurman says Apple will initially ship only the standard M6 chip for Macs, postponing the more powerful M6 Pro and M6 Max variants until possibly 2027. The move reflects a shift toward AI‑optimized silicon, with high‑end Macs expected to remain on the current M5 generation until the next M7 architecture is ready.
