Apple ranks third in TIME’s 2026 best companies list

Apple has returned to TIME’s “The World’s Best Companies 2026” list, securing the third position with a total score of 93.16. This follows a one-year absence from the rankings in 2025, which was attributed to declining revenues between 2022 and 2024.

Nvidia leads the global ranking with 97.51 points, followed by Cigna in second place with 94.37 points. Apple’s score is derived from three equally weighted pillars: employee satisfaction, revenue growth over the last three years, and sustainability transparency.

While Apple received a “very high” rating for revenue growth, its performance in sustainability transparency saw a significant decline, dropping to 24th place after previously leading that category in 2024. In terms of employee satisfaction, Apple ranks third, behind Microsoft and IBM.
