Apple releases iOS 26.5.2 update fixing 25 security vulnerabilities

Apple has rolled out iOS 26.5.2 for iPhone users, targeting roughly 25 security flaws in the operating system. The patch addresses critical issues in core components such as the IOGPU graphics task manager, Safari’s WebKit engine, WebRTC, web extensions and the libxslt library. Some of the vulnerabilities could have allowed malicious apps or websites to destabilise the device, steal data, or gain unauthorized access to user information.

The company urges iPhone owners to install the update promptly via Settings → General → Software Update. Apple says the upgrade also improves overall system stability and serves as a step toward the upcoming iOS 27 release.
