Apple releases iOS 27 beta 4 with Siri AI upgrades and new Call Context feature

Apple has made the fourth developer beta of iOS 27 available, continuing the refinement of Siri and Apple Intelligence ahead of the public launch expected in September. The beta introduces a redesigned Siri welcome screen, expanded voice controls that let two Siri voices adjust rhythm and expressivity, and the new Call Context feature in the Phone app, which automatically surfaces relevant information—such as airline confirmation codes—when calling a business.

In parallel, Apple’s watchOS 27 beta brings Siri AI to the Apple Watch, requiring an iPhone 15 Pro or later, and adds a refreshed fitness experience through an enhanced Workout Buddy with high‑precision metrics and voice motivation. New interface gestures, a dynamic app grid and a redesigned Find My app are also part of the watchOS update. Both operating‑system updates are free and will roll out with the new iPhone line later this year, offering performance optimizations, power‑efficiency improvements, and broader AI‑driven capabilities across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch devices.
