Apple releases iOS 27.2 beta with new Health features

Apple has released the first beta of iOS 27.2, which introduces several significant updates and experimental features. A major component of this release is a redesigned Health app featuring ‘Insights’ and ‘Longevity’ sections. These tools utilize Apple Intelligence to synthesize health data and provide actionable information, such as ‘Health Age’ comparisons. Additionally, Apple is testing AI-driven movement analysis that uses the iPhone camera and Apple Watch data to assess mobility, strength, and balance.

Siri AI is expanding its capabilities with support for new languages, including French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. The update also includes regional adjustments, such as changes to App Tracking Transparency in Europe and a new device deletion function specifically for users in China.

For general users, iOS 27 has also introduced improved audio customization. Users can now adjust the volume of specific sounds—such as alarms, system alerts, and timers—independently from the main ringer volume through the Settings menu.
