Apple releases iPhone 18 Pro series with improved camera and battery

Apple has launched the iPhone 18 lineup, featuring the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models. The new series introduces a variety of colors, including black, silver, glacier, and a signature burgundy. The Pro models utilize a new design language characterized by a “camera plateau” and an aluminum unibody construction designed for durability and heat dissipation.

Key hardware upgrades include a 48MP Pro Fusion camera system with a physical aperture mechanism (ranging from ƒ/1.48 to ƒ/4.0) and improved optical-quality zoom, which reaches up to 8x on the Pro Max model. The selfie camera features an 18MP Center Stage sensor. Battery life has seen an increase, with the Pro model supporting up to 36 hours of local video playback. Charging capabilities include 40-watt fast charging, reaching 50% capacity in 20 minutes, and continued support for MagSafe accessories.
