Apple releases Safari Technology Preview 252 for macOS

Apple has released Safari Technology Preview 252 for macOS Golden Gate and macOS Tahoe. This developer-focused build allows users to test upcoming WebKit changes, new web platform APIs, and rendering fixes before they are integrated into the stable version of Safari.

Key updates in this release include new CSS support, such as the named-feature() function in @supports conditions, the unprefixed user-select property, and percentage values in text-decoration-inset. The update also addresses several accessibility and animation issues, including fixes for list marker text in accessible names and animation frame rate alignment.

Safari Technology Preview is distributed as a direct download from the WebKit blog rather than through the Mac App Store. It installs as a separate application from the standard consumer version of Safari.
