Apple releases second watchOS 27.2 release candidate

Apple has released a second release candidate for watchOS 27.2, following the initial version made available on October 19. This update is intended for registered developers and public beta testers.

The update focuses heavily on enhancing Siri AI capabilities. New features include the ability for Siri to retain context from previous interactions, such as recalling past recommendations, and drawing from a broader range of personal data including Messages photos, Calendar event attendees, voicemails, and Safari history.

Additionally, Siri AI will provide faster responses and expand language support to include French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. However, Siri AI remains unavailable in the European Union and mainland China. The update also introduces an ‘Excluded Apps’ setting to manage data access for Siri, Search, and suggestions.
