Apple removes augmented reality experience from Apple Park Visitor Center

Apple has removed the augmented reality (AR) experience from its Apple Park Visitor Center in Cupertino, California, following a recent renovation. The AR exhibit previously allowed visitors to use custom iPads to view a 3D model of the campus, offering immersive views of the building’s ventilation and solar installations.

The space formerly occupied by the AR exhibit has been converted into an extension of the traditional Apple Store. The new layout features wall-mounted shelves known as ‘Avenues’ for accessories and redesigned, rounded tables for product displays. Other sections of the visitor center, including the Caffè Macs, remain unchanged.
