Apple rolls out Creator Studio updates starting with Logic Pro
Apple has begun the rollout of its Creator Studio updates, starting with the standalone version of Logic Pro for Mac. The update introduces a Liquid Glass design, featuring a darker palette with translucent surfaces and deeper contrast intended to modernize the professional interface.
Key functional improvements to Logic Pro include a Unified Browser that centralizes loops, instrument patches, and plug-in presets. This browser supports natural language searches, such as “atmospheric pad,” and allows users to find similar sounds across their entire collection. Additionally, an enhanced stem splitter now enables users to separate drum elements into individual tracks, such as kick, snare, and hi-hat, for more precise mixing.
New features also include an Intelligent Assistant, a beta tool combining Apple and OpenAI models to assist in the music creation process. Users can also utilize an iPad as a multi-touch controller via Sidecar support. Other apps in the Creator Studio suite, including Pixelmator Pro, are expected to receive updates throughout November.
