Apple schedules iOS 27 public beta for mid‑July

Apple has confirmed that the public beta of iOS 27 will be released in July, with the earliest rollout expected around July 13. The beta follows nearly a month of developer testing and precedes the official iOS 27 launch slated for September.

The update’s headline feature is Siri AI, available on compatible iPhones, alongside refinements to the Liquid Glass UI, a new design‑customisation slider, and performance and bug‑fix improvements. Core Apple apps such as Messages, Notes, Photos, Calendar, Maps, Music and Safari receive new capabilities, and CarPlay and AirPods see additional upgrades. The beta is compatible with all iPhone models that support iOS 26, though many AI‑driven features require newer hardware.
