Apple chooses Samsung Display as exclusive OLED touchscreen panel supplier for upcoming MacBook Ultra
Apple is developing new 14‑inch and 16‑inch MacBook models that will feature OLED displays with integrated touch capability. Mass production of the panels is slated to begin around August 2026 at Samsung’s Asan facility in South Korea. Design changes include a slimmer chassis and a Dynamic Island‑style user interface, while rival suppliers LG Display and BOE will not participate in the first production run.
