Apple TV 4K expected to feature AI integration and new hardware

Reports indicate that a new Apple TV 4K model is expected to be announced at an upcoming Apple event, potentially featuring significant hardware and software upgrades designed to support artificial intelligence.

Key anticipated features include the integration of Apple Intelligence through an enhanced Siri, allowing for more natural voice commands and smarter content searches. To support these AI capabilities, the device is expected to feature a more powerful A-series processor, replacing the current A15 Bionic chip.

Connectivity is also set for an upgrade. The new model may utilize Apple’s proprietary ‘N1’ communication chip, which could bring Wi-Fi 7 and updated Bluetooth standards to the device, improving stability and integration with other smart home products. Additionally, a new Siri Remote may be introduced, potentially featuring second-generation Ultra Wideband technology for improved precision finding.
