Apple TV and Netflix achieve record Emmy nomination totals

Apple TV received a record 87 Emmy nominations for the 78th ceremony, highlighted by hits such as The Studio, Severance and Shrinking. The platform’s growing original‑content strategy places it among the most successful players in the television season.

Netflix earned an even higher count with 111 nominations, led by series like BEEF (16 nominations), The Beast in Me, The Diplomat, Black Rabbit and others. Both streaming services are vying for major awards as the Emmys are scheduled for 14 September.
