Apple TV+ Announces Filming of Severance Season 3

Ben Stiller posted a blurred image on X that shows characters Mark S. and Helly R. sprinting through the corridors of Lumon Industries, confirming that production on the third season of the Apple TV+ series Severence has begun. The teaser image, accompanied by a quote from the fictional founder Kier Eagan, indicates the new season will pick up shortly after the cliff‑hanger ending of season two.

Industry analysts expect filming to last six to nine months, followed by post‑production, which could place the series premiere in late 2027. The update follows a long development cycle for the show, which saw three years between its first two seasons due to rewrites, reshoots and Hollywood strikes.
