Apple TV releases trailer for crime thriller Nocturne

Apple TV has released the trailer and key art for ‘Nocturne’, a new 10-episode crime thriller series scheduled to premiere globally on October 30, 2026. The series is an adaptation of the bestselling crime novels ‘The Sandman’ and ‘Lazarus’ by Lars Kepler.

The drama stars Liev Schreiber as Jonah Lynn, an ex-soldier turned homicide detective who moves from Philadelphia to a small town in western Pennsylvania seeking a quieter life. His peace is disrupted when Jurek Walter, a cunning serial killer played by Stephen Graham, targets the community and Lynn’s family. The plot follows Lynn as he enlists his surrogate daughter, FBI Agent Saga Bauer (played by Zazie Beetz), to confront the killer and locate a missing victim.

The production features a cast including Bill Camp, Rory Culkin, Chrissy Metz, Poorna Jagannathan, and Gary Carr. The series was created by Rowan Joffe and developed by John Hlavin, who also serves as showrunner. Following the release of the first two episodes on October 30, new episodes will be released weekly every Friday through December 25, 2026.
