Apple TV+ confirms second season of Vince Gilligan series Pluribus

Apple TV+ has confirmed that the Vince Gilligan series ‘Pluribus’ will return for a second season. The streaming platform had previously placed a two-season order for the show before the first season even premiered.

While an official release date has not been announced, creator Vince Gilligan reported in June 2026 that the writing team has passed the halfway point in the scripting process for the second season. Due to the time required for filming, editing, and visual effects, some projections suggest a potential release as late as 2028.

The upcoming season is expected to build upon the cliffhanger of the first season, specifically focusing on the mystery of the atomic bomb obtained by the protagonist, Carol Sturka, and her encounter with another human, Manousos.
