Season 4, scheduled to debut on 5 August, will feature a narrative shift with Ted coaching a second‑division women’s soccer team. Cherniss also highlighted Apple TV’s recent success, noting the platform’s 87 Emmy nominations across its comedy slate and expressing confidence that Ted Lasso will be part of next year’s Emmy lineup.
