Apple TV+ sets Emmy record with 89 nominations across 15 series

Apple TV+ led the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards with a record 89 nominations, the highest of any platform. The nominations span 15 original series, with a focus on both comedy and drama categories.

The most‑nominated show is the comedy "Widow’s Bay" (19 nods), followed by the drama "Pluribus" (18). Other heavily‑nominated titles include "Shrinking" (10), "Slow Horses" (9) and "Margo’s Got Money Troubles" (8). Apple also received nods for "Foundation", "Monarch – Legacy of Monsters", "The Morning Show", "Murderbot", "Palm Royale" and "Smoke Curtain".

Apple’s programming chief Matt Cherniss said the nominations recognize “great stories that entertain, surprise and bring people together.” The winners will be announced at the ceremony on 14 September. Across all platforms, the four major streaming services combined for a total of 393 Emmy nods.
