Apple TV expands content with new series acquisitions
Apple TV is expanding its original content library through new acquisitions and developments. The platform has secured the rights to develop ‘All the Little Houses’, a drama series based on the novel by May Cobb. The story is set in mid-1980s Longview, Texas, and follows the social dynamics of the Anderson dynasty and the arrival of a new family in town. The project involves screenwriter Naomi Sheldon, with Fifth Season serving as the production studio.
Additionally, Apple TV has added the British comedy-drama ‘Small Prophets’ (Pequeños profetas) to its catalog. Created by Mackenzie Crook, the six-episode series follows Michael Sleep, a man attempting to use alchemy to uncover the mystery of his girlfriend’s disappearance. The series, which previously aired on the BBC, features performances by Pearce Quigley and Sir Michael Palin.
