Apple TV+ launches Silo season 3 with new cast and pre‑silo storyline

Apple TV+ released the official trailer for the third season of the post‑apocalyptic series Silo, confirming a premiere on 3 July. The new season will split its narrative between the present silos and the world before the cataclysm, interweaving storylines from the second and third books of Hugh Howey’s trilogy.

The pre‑silo timeline introduces major cast additions, including Jessica Henwick as journalist Helen Drew and Ashley Zukerman as Congressman Daniel Keene, alongside a larger ensemble featuring Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Morven Christie, Reed Birney, Matt Craven and Colin Hanks. In the existing silo setting, Juliette Nichols assumes the role of mayor, continuing her arc from the previous season.

The trailer highlights the series’ expanding scope, shifting from the confined underground environment to a broader exploration of the world’s collapse, while maintaining the series’ dark, dystopian tone.
