Apple TV releases second season of Michelin star docuseries

The second season of the docuseries ‘Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars’ has premiered on Apple TV. The eight-episode season follows 16 restaurants across Europe, the United States, and Brazil as they strive to earn, maintain, or increase their Michelin star ratings.

Hosted by Jesse Burgess and executive produced by Gordon Ramsay and Studio Ramsay Global, the series provides an intimate look at the intense labor required to achieve culinary excellence. The season features diverse narratives, including a family risking everything to put a small island on the Michelin map, two generations of a legendary cooking family, and chefs who voluntarily relinquished their stars to pursue new ventures, leaving them with only 52 days to reclaim them.

Specific locations featured in the new season include Wales, where chef Gareth Ward aims for a third star at the 16-seat restaurant Ynyshir, as well as establishments in Stockholm, France, Germany, and Scandinavia.
