Apple TV+ releases Sugar season 2 trailer starring Colin Farrell
Apple TV+ unveiled the official trailer for the second season of the neo‑noir series Sugar, confirming that the eight‑episode run will premiere on June 19 2026 and continue weekly until August 7. Colin Farrell returns as private detective John Sugar, who pursues a new missing‑person case involving the older brother of an up‑and‑coming local boxer, while still searching for his missing sister. The investigation quickly expands into a city‑wide conspiracy.
The season introduces a fresh cast that includes Jin Ha, Raymond Lee, Tony Dalton, Laura Donnelly, Sasha Calle and guest star Shea Whigham. Showrunner Sam Catlin leads the series, with executive producers Colin Farrell, Simon Kinberg, Audrey Chon and others. Created by Mark Protosevich, the show continues its contemporary take on the classic detective genre.
The trailer features the line “How far will he go to do what’s right?” and a tongue‑in‑cheek reply to a question about Sugar’s origins: “Can we skip that one?” reflecting the series’ blend of noir style and sci‑fi twist.
