Apple TV releases trailer for thriller series Nocturne

Apple TV has released the first trailer for its new thriller series, ‘Nocturne’, starring Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, and Stephen Graham. The ten-episode production is based on the crime novel ‘The Sandman’ by Lars Kepler, a series that has sold approximately 20 million copies worldwide.

The story follows Jonah Lynn (Schreiber), a former combatant turned homicide detective in Philadelphia, who moves to a small community in western Pennsylvania seeking a quieter life. His peace is disrupted when serial killer Jurek Walter (Graham) targets the town and Lynn's family. The plot involves Lynn enlisting his adoptive daughter, FBI agent Saga Bauer (Beetz), to help track the killer.

The series is scheduled to premiere globally on October 30 with two episodes. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly through December 25. The series was created by Rowan Joffe and John Hlavin, who serve as co-showrunners.
