Apple TV renews thriller series Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed

Apple TV has renewed the dark comedy thriller series “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” for a second season. The series stars Tatiana Maslany as Paula, a newly divorced mother who becomes entangled in a dangerous web of blackmail, murder, and youth soccer.

While navigating a custody battle and an identity crisis, Paula investigates what she believes to be a crime, potentially uncovering a larger conspiracy. The production is led by creator and showrunner David J. Rosen, with executive producers including David Gordon Green, Simon Kinberg, Audrey Chon, and Bard Dorros.

In addition to Maslany, the ensemble cast features Jake Johnson, Murray Bartlett, Dolly De Leon, and Brandon Flynn. A writers' room is currently in progress, and production for the second season is expected to commence during the first half of 2027.
