Lucky series finale concludes Anya Taylor-Joy crime thriller
The Apple TV+ crime thriller miniseries ‘Lucky’, starring Anya Taylor-Joy, has concluded its seven-episode run with the release of the finale, ‘All Good Things’, on August 19, 2026. Based on the novel by Marissa Stapley, the series follows Luciana ‘Lucky’ Armstrong, a con artist attempting to escape her criminal past, only to be drawn back in following a failed heist involving millions in cryptocurrency.
The finale resolves several major plot threads, including the exposure of an FBI mole, Kershaw, who was working for crime boss Wayne Whittaker. The story reaches a climax at a remote gas facility where Lucky faces off against Whittaker and crime matriarch Priscilla Matheson. Ultimately, the series emphasizes Lucky’s desire for freedom over the stolen fortune.
While the show was designed as a limited series, showrunners Jonathan Tropper and Cassie Pappas have indicated that a second season remains a possibility if a compelling new story idea emerges. However, they noted that the current narrative was intended to be a self-contained character study regarding Lucky’s relationship with her father and her quest for independence.
