Women in Blue season 2 to premiere on Apple TV in August

The second season of the Apple TV series ‘Women in Blue’ (Las Azules) is scheduled to premiere on August 12, 2026. The historical drama follows the first female police unit in Mexico City during the early 1970s.

Returning cast members include Bárbara Mori, Ximena Sariñana, Natalia Téllez, and Amorita Rasgado. The new season consists of eight episodes, with weekly releases leading to a finale on September 30, 2026. The plot is expected to delve into multi-layered conspiracies following the discovery of a student activist's body, touching upon historical events such as the 1968 student massacre.

The series, directed by Fernando Rovzar and co-created by Pablo Aramendi, explores themes of corruption and the struggle against a patriarchal system within the police and judicial sectors.
