Apple TV announces Bad Monkey season 2 premiere date

Apple TV has announced that the second season of the comedy series ‘Bad Monkey’ will premiere on December 2, 2026. The 10-episode season will release one new episode every Wednesday, concluding on February 3, 2027.

Starring and executive produced by Vince Vaughn, the new season features an all-new original story rather than a direct adaptation of Carl Hiaasen’s subsequent novels. The plot follows Andrew Yancy, a former detective, after he witnesses the murder of a prominent Florida fixer. To regain his badge, Yancy must collaborate with a forensic accountant and navigate a turf war between rival criminal organizations.

Returning cast members include Natalie Martinez, Charlotte Lawrence, and John Ortiz. The second season also introduces new cast members such as John Malkovich, Yvonne Strahovski, and Zavior Phillips, with guest appearances by Dax Shepard and Sofia Boutella. The series is developed by showrunner Bill Lawrence and produced by Warner Bros. Television.
