Apple TV to premiere thriller series Last Seen on September 9

Apple TV is set to premiere the Australian thriller series ‘Last Seen’ on September 9, 2026. The six-episode series is directed by Christian Schwochow and adapted from Ryan David Jahn’s novel ‘The Dispatcher’ by Kris Mrksa.

The story follows Ian Ridley, played by Patrick Brammall, a former police detective turned emergency dispatcher. The plot centers on Ridley’s obsession with his daughter Maggie, who disappeared eleven years ago. His life is upended when he receives a distress call from a teenage girl whose voice he believes belongs to his missing daughter, triggering a desperate search.

The premiere will release the first two episodes simultaneously, with the remaining four episodes arriving weekly on Wednesdays through October 7, 2026.
