Apple TV to release Australian thriller series Last Seen

The Australian psychological thriller series ‘Last Seen’ is set to premiere on Apple TV on September 9. Directed by Christian Schwochow and based on the novel ‘The Dispatcher’ by Ryan David Jahn, the six-part series follows Ian Ridley, played by Patrick Brammall.

Ridley is a former police chief in the fictional coastal town of Port McKenna. Eleven years after his daughter Megs disappeared, Ridley, now a recovering alcoholic working as a call center dispatcher, receives a frantic call from a young girl he believes may be his missing child. The discovery of a skeletal remains following a storm further complicates his search for answers.

The series also stars Brendan Cowell, Maxine Peake, and Zahra Newman.
