Apple TV wraps filming on sci-fi thriller Liminal

Filming has concluded for Liminal, an upcoming science fiction action-thriller for Apple TV. Directed by Louis Leterrier, the film is an adaptation of the AWA graphic novel Telepaths, created by J. Michael Straczynski, Steve Epting, and Brian Reber.

The story is set in a world where an electromagnetic disturbance causes approximately ten percent of the population to gain telepathic abilities. The plot follows the Boston police department as they attempt to track down a group of these newly powered individuals, led by a wrongly convicted prisoner. The narrative is complicated by the fact that some members of the police force also possess these telepathic powers.

The film stars Vanessa Kirby and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, supported by an ensemble cast including Tom Pelphrey, Franka Potente, Tracy Letts, and Paul Sparks. The screenplay was written by Justin Rhodes.
