The plot centres on Ji Moon, the sole witness to Vega’s murder of fellow gang member Chuy during a fentanyl “Fire Sale” deal. Vega pursues Ji to silence him, planting a GPS tracker on Ji’s car and arranging a drug exchange at a shopping mall.

Sugar tracks Ji to a remote desert property, where he stages a fake overdose using naloxone to make Ji appear dead. Vega’s men seize the money, phone and tracker, believing the witness eliminated, but Sugar revives Ji within the three‑minute reversal window.
