Apple TV's Upcoming Thriller “Lucky” Set for July Release

Apple TV will launch the crime‑thriller miniseries “Lucky” on July 15, 2026, with the first two episodes released together and subsequent episodes rolling out weekly through August 19. The series stars Anya Taylor‑Joy as Lucky Armstrong, a reformed con‑artist forced back into crime after a multimillion‑dollar heist goes wrong.

“Lucky” is adapted from Marissa Stapley’s 2021 novel, a New York Times bestseller and Reese’s Book Club pick. Production began in February 2025 in Las Vegas and continued in Los Angeles, wrapping by July. Jonathan Tropper (creator) and Cassie Pappas serve as co‑showrunners, with executive producers that include Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, Lauren Neustadter, and Taylor‑Joy herself. The supporting cast features Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, Aunjanue‑Ellis Taylor, Mo McRae, Clifton Collins Jr., William Fichtner and Drew Starkey.
