Apple Wallet introduces Discover section in iOS 27

Apple is introducing a new ‘Discover’ section to the Wallet app as part of the iOS 27 beta 5 update. This feature is designed to increase user engagement and simplify the management of the app’s diverse range of digital assets.

The Discover section provides educational guides and one-tap shortcuts for various services, including Apple Pay, Apple Card, Apple Cash, transit cards, boarding passes, event tickets, IDs, and digital keys. By offering walkthroughs and direct links to set up these features, Apple aims to lower the learning curve for users who may not be aware of the app’s full capabilities.

In addition to these guides, iOS 27 is expected to bring further enhancements to Wallet, such as the ability to split bills with friends, import physical passes, and potentially store Apple trade-in quotes. These updates aim to consolidate more physical items—such as membership cards, event tickets, and keys—into a single digital interface.
