Apple launches Apple Watch Ultra 4 and Series 12 with S11 chip

Apple has released new iterations of its wearable lineup, including the Apple Watch Ultra 4 and Apple Watch Series 12. These devices feature the new S11 chip, which integrates advanced artificial intelligence and enhanced health sensing capabilities.

The Apple Watch Ultra 4 introduces a holistic readiness score that assesses physical state on a scale of 0 to 10, providing recommendations on exercise intensity. This score can be viewed directly on the watch bezel. The Ultra 4 maintains a titanium build and a starting price of $799, similar to its predecessor.

The Apple Watch Series 12 offers various casing options, including aluminum, titanium, and ceramic, with prices starting at $399 for aluminum models. While the Series 12 introduces improved AI features through Siri and the S11 chip, certain AI functionalities may face regulatory delays in the European Union due to the Digital Markets Act.

In the retail market, Amazon has been offering discounts on previous generation models, such as the Apple Watch Ultra 3, to clear existing stock.
