Apple's 2027 iPhone Roadmap: Air 2 and iPhone 20 Set for Spring Release

Apple is reportedly preparing several new iPhone models for a spring 2027 launch. The iPhone Air 2 would keep the ultra‑slim chassis of the 2025 Air while adding a second rear camera for ultra‑wide photography and improving battery life, possibly through a larger cell or efficiency gains. The device is expected to be powered by a 2 nm A20 Pro processor and to be released alongside the regular iPhone 18.

In parallel, Apple may debut two iPhone 20 models—6.3‑inch and 6.9‑inch versions—featuring a full‑glass, notch‑less design, under‑display Face ID, solid‑state haptic buttons, a 6 000 mAh battery, and a 2 nm A21 chip that will also run the second‑generation iPhone Ultra 2 foldable. The rollout would replace the traditional iPhone 19 line, positioning the iPhone 20 as the anniversary flagship and shifting Apple’s release schedule to spread major launches across the year.
