Apple's iPhone 18 Pro to debut silicon‑carbon battery with up to 40‑hour life

Apple is reportedly redesigning the battery for its forthcoming iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Technical sources indicate the new cells will replace the traditional graphite anode with a silicon‑carbon composite, housed in a rigid metal enclosure.
