Applied Materials reports insider sales and institutional buying as analysts raise price targets

Applied Materials Inc. disclosed several insider transactions in June 2026. Director Thomas Iannotti sold 9,250 shares for $5.55 million, while insider Prabu G. Rajas sold 50,000 shares for $25.26 million and SVP Timothy M. Deane sold 8,621 shares for $5.09 million. In total, insiders have sold 189,767 shares worth about $107.8 million in the last 90 days.

Institutional investors increased their stakes during the same period. Diversified Trust Co. raised its holding by 20.3% to 36,592 shares valued at $12.5 million, and other firms such as Cornerstone Financial Management, Wilkerson Advisory Group, Highline Wealth Partners, Joseph Group Capital Management and Dogwood Wealth Management added new or larger positions, collectively amounting to modest multi‑million‑dollar purchases.

Analyst coverage turned more optimistic: Royal Bank of Canada, Wells Fargo, Deutsche Bank, UBS and Sanford C. Bernstein lifted price targets to a range of $520–$570 per share, with 27 analysts currently rating the stock as a Buy.
