Applied Nutrition raises outlook following 50% revenue surge

Applied Nutrition has reported a 50 per cent year-on-year increase in revenue, rising to £160 million from £107 million in the previous year. Driven by sustained demand across various markets and channels, the Liverpool-based sports nutrition brand has raised its financial outlook for the fiscal year ending July 31, 2027.

The company forecasts annual revenue to reach approximately £205 million, up from previous guidance. It also expects adjusted EBITDA to increase by 13 per cent to roughly £49 million. Despite this growth, the company cautioned that EBITDA margins may decrease slightly due to rising global whey protein costs and a higher revenue contribution from the United States.

To support its expansion into North America, Applied Nutrition acquired a US-based manufacturing facility in June. The brand has also diversified its product line, recently launching a GLP-1-friendly supplement range exclusively at Holland & Barrett to address growing demand for weight-loss drug support.
