兆基屋管 appoints Wang Kuei-tseng as chairman following board restructure
兆基屋管, a leading rental management company in Taiwan, has completed a full restructuring of its board of directors following an extraordinary general meeting. Wang Kuei-tseng, who previously served as acting general manager, has been appointed as the new chairman.
The new board includes executive director Chen Jian-cheng, director Wang Chin-hsiang, director Li Chia-nong, and a seat reserved for Acer Inc., which remains the company's second-largest shareholder. The supervisory board consists of Shih Chin-fang and Deng Tzu-fang.
The new leadership team stated that their primary objectives are to stabilize company operations and rebuild market trust. They intend to review the corporate governance framework, strengthen internal controls, and enhance financial, legal, and auditing mechanisms. The company emphasized that it is an independent legal entity and that the actions or legal liabilities of specific individuals should be clearly distinguished from the corporation itself. The board also committed to conducting internal investigations into past management matters in accordance with the law.
