Apptronik Robot Park in Texas trains hundreds of humanoid robots

Apptronik opened an 8,000‑square‑metre "Robot Park" in Texas in June, calling it a robot school where hundreds of Apollo 2 humanoid robots are trained around the clock. The facility teaches robots tasks such as loading conveyor belts, sorting items, shelving, packing, pallet handling, inventory scanning and door opening, as well as navigating uneven floors and safely moving around people.

Global deliveries of humanoid robots are expected to rise sharply. Goldman Sachs reports roughly 13,000 units were supplied to businesses last year, with forecasts of 50,000‑100,000 units by 2026. These robots are already used in aircraft airports, automotive factories and logistics warehouses, and experts anticipate broader adoption in health care, retail, home‑assistant and other sectors by the late 2020s.
