APR expands Medicube retail presence with U.S. Costco launch

APR, the parent company of the beauty brand Medicube, has expanded its offline retail presence in North America by launching in approximately 400 Costco locations in the United States. The brand is introducing a Costco-exclusive version of its Zero Pore Pad, a product that has maintained a top ranking in the toner and skin toner category on Amazon US since February of last year.

This move follows a series of strategic expansions into major U.S. retailers, including Ulta Beauty, Target, and Walmart. APR plans to further increase its footprint by entering approximately 3,000 CVS Pharmacy locations within the year. The company also intends to expand its Costco presence to Canada and Europe.

APR reported significant growth in its North American operations, with first-half sales reaching 647.9 billion KRW, representing a more than 260% increase compared to the same period last year. Over the past five years since 2021, the company's North American revenue has grown approximately 30-fold.
