Aprilia CEO discusses MotoGP title fight with Marc Márquez

Following the Aragon Grand Prix, the 2026 MotoGP title race has emerged as a three-way contest between Aprilia riders Jorge Martín and Marco Bezzecchi, and Ducati's Marc Márquez.

Aprilia CEO Massimo Rivola described the competition against Márquez as “an honour” and a “huge motivation,” acknowledging the Spaniard as one of the greatest riders in history. Rivola noted that there is “a lot to learn” from Márquez’s ability to secure victories and manage races through consistency, even when facing difficulties.

Despite Aprilia's recent successes, including Bezzecchi's performance in Aragon, Rivola emphasized that the team must remain focused and fight until the final race to contend with such high-level competition.
