Aprilia prepares for San Michele Arcangelo festivities

The town of Aprilia is preparing for the festivities in honor of its patron saint, San Michele Arcangelo. To ensure the safety of the religious procession scheduled for September 29, the municipality has issued an ordinance implementing significant traffic restrictions. These include parking bans with forced removal between 18:00 and 21:00, and transit bans starting at 19:00 along several streets, including Via degli Aranci, Largo delle Rose, Via delle Margherite, Via Alessandro Volta, and Via dei Lauri.

In a separate development regarding the festivities, the Democratic Party (PD) has formally requested the municipal administration to conduct strict audits on the taxes paid by traveling amusement park operators. Councilman Alfonso Formato has called for rigorous checks to ensure that tax reductions and benefits for business groups are applied correctly and transparently. The PD expressed concerns regarding potential opacity in how municipal concessions and ticket distributions are handled, urging that resources be used based on objective criteria rather than political interests.
