Aprilia Racing unveils white Perla Bianca livery for Misano GP

Aprilia Racing has unveiled a special “Perla Bianca” (Pearl White) livery for its RS-GP26 motorcycles to be used during the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix in Misano. The design serves a dual purpose: celebrating the 80th anniversary of Vespa and paying tribute to Formula 1 legend Gilles Villeneuve.

The white color scheme is inspired by the racing suit worn by Villeneuve during his victory at the 1981 Monaco Grand Prix, which featured the Piaggio Vespa logo on the sleeve. To complete the tribute, Aprilia Racing team members will wear coordinated white uniforms, and Villeneuve’s original 1981 suit will be displayed outside the team's pit box throughout the race weekend.

Drivers Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martín will pilot the specially decorated bikes. The initiative highlights the historical connection between the Piaggio Group brands, Aprilia and Vespa, while honoring one of motorsport’s most iconic figures.
